Mushroom Biryani

This is a very simple vegetarian pulav made in the same way as any other pulav or biryani.

This is a very simple and easy rice recipe. I Make it all time with or with out mushrooms. I serve this for lunch as well as for dinner. They are so filling and satisfying. And another happy thing about this pulav is that they can be increased in volume to any extend.

For the Non - Vegetarian version of this biryani, add Shrimp to the biryani it tastes great. Love this recipe so much. And the recipe source is my Mom. This is one of her best recipes.

I am planing to send this recipe to Rice Varieties Event ...... Easy craft of Simple Indian food is hosting this months events. Good luck!!….

How was Dasavataram? Modern story with a old name or based on the mythical Vishnu's 10 avatars for real? I have a Amar Chitra Katha magazine for kids. Sometimes they read it and ask me lot of q's? :D
    Enjoy.

  45. Great mushroom biryani I just love Indian cousine, as is so versatile and very colourful and the tastes are like the colours in your foods a rainbow of flavours to lease every one ...I chose this dish for the colour and for the fact that is vegetarian, and my wife is vegetarian...thx for sharing :)
I have a few curries on my blog but I am sure they don't compare.

  46. You know we make biryani with mixed vegetable and with pineapple and tofu at times but haven't tried with mushroom. Lookin' at your pictures, I'm going to try it next time. It's always good to mix it up a bit.
